What Is Delta-8 THC?

Delta 8 THC is a potent cannabinoid found naturally in cannabis flowers. Delta-8-THC is a CBD isomer,  which is a  derivative of hemp and CBD, a cannabinoid found i n hemp. To put it another way, Delta 8 THC is a middle ground between hemp, CBD, and THC-Delta-9. Delta-8 THC is defined as “an analogue of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) with antiemetic, anxiolytic, appetite-stimulating, analgesic, and neuroprotective properties,” according to the National Cancer Institute. They also stated that “this agent exhibits a lower psychotropic potency than Delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (Delta-9-THC), the primary form of THC found in cannabis.”

What Is Delta-9 THC?

Delta-9 THC is the cannabinoid most closely linked with conventional cannabis, making it the most popular.  On the other hand,The Delta-9 THC we use, originates from the Hemp plant, not Marijuana. THC is the most common psychoactive compound in marijuana, but it is far less prevalent in hemp. The Delta-9 strain is the one most responsible for the recreational ‘high’ associated with cannabis. Even though its psychotropic effects last only a few hours at most, it can be detectable in the human body for up to twenty hours after ingestion.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Yes, it does get you high and it is a form of THC.

The biggest difference between the two is that Delta-9 is slightly more potent than Delta-8.

Some reports say that delta-9 only lasts 5 days in your system.

Yes, delta-9 is federally legal thanks to the 2018 Farm Bill.

What Is Delta-10 THC?

Delta-10, a potent cannabinoid found in hemp plants, is a powerful cannabinoid. The method of production for Delta-10 THC is quite similar to Delta 8 THC. THC is extracted from the hemp plant, and the Delta 10 THC is segregated and turned into a distillate, which is found in our products with less than 0.3% Delta-9-THC. Delta-10 THC is one of several cannabinoids you can find in hemp and cannabis. Unlike Delta-9 THC, which is predominantly found in cannabis, Delta-10 THC is found in trace amounts in Hemp plants and is extracted to create our Delta-10 products.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Delta-10 THC is less psychotropic than THC and is generally regarded as less harmful.

The delta-10 gummies, disposables, and cartridges are among the most popular Delta-10 products.

Delta-10 can last anywhere from 5 days to a month depending on how frequently you use delta-10.

Delta-10 is weaker than delta-8. Delta-10 will give you milder Psychoactive effects.

What Is Delta-11 THC?

After we consume THC, our bodies produce Delta 11 THC, which is a metabolite. During digestion, the famous Delta-9 is broken down by our gastrointestinal system, specially the liver, resulting in 11-Hydroxy, also known as 11-OH-THC. 11-Hydroxy-THC isn’t found in the cannabis plant naturally, and it doesn’t come from smoking cannabis. Only when we ingest cannabis, and if it is properly decarboxylated 11-Hydroxy-THC can be formed. Delta-9 to 11-Hydroxy-THC conversion begins in the stomach but is primarily completed in the liver. The organ then transports 11-OH-THC into our bloodstream, where it can reach our brain and produce its effects. Like the other cannabinoids, 11-Hydroxy-THC interacts with our endocannabinoid system. Only difference is that the work our bodies put in to break down Delta-9 THC improves its bioavailability in our system. 11-OH-THC is the chemical most responsible for the “munchies” because it is an appetite stimulant.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What Is THC-P?

Cannabigerolic acid (CBGA), also known as the “mother cannabinoid” from which cannabinoids are derived, is the precursor to THCP. THCP, or tetrahydrocannabiphorol, is a natural cannabinoid and analogue of THC found in cannabis varieties. Its scientific name is  (-)-Trans-Δ9-tetrahydrocannabiphorol. It’s considered to be 33 times more potent at cannabinoid 1 (CB1) receptors than THC,  resulting in a powerful euphoric high.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What Is THCV?

THCV is derived from a form of CBG cannabinoid. African hemp strains tend to have higher levels of THCV, however other strains can also have high amounts of THCV. One of the most significant differences between THC and THCV is that when consumed in low doses, it does not produce a “high.” Higher doses of THCV, on the other hand, tend to make it psychoactive. Another noticeable difference with THCV is that it suppresses the urge to eat. This means you shouldn’t expect strange cravings as you could get with regular THC.

What Is HHC?

HHC is distinguished from other hemp products by the absence of a double bond in its carbon chain. You can expect similar euphoric effects to those experienced with THC. Some users, however, claim that it gives mental cloudiness similar to Delta 9 THC, but without the agitation. Although HHC is not THC, it does bind to your Endocannabinoid receptors, hence the type of experience you have will be determined by your THC tolerance. This is what determines the type of HHC experience you will have.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Yes, HHC can get you high because it’s psychoactive.

Yes, HHC is safe and naturally occurring in the Hemp plant stems and leaf’s.

Although its tough to say, you’re better off not taking any chances and avoiding HHC before a test.

Yes, HHC is Hemp Compliant and is legal wherever Hemp is legal.

What Is THCH?

When THCh is compared to Delta 8, the difference is in its potency. On a molecular level, THC’s potency is evident. Tetrahydrocannabihexol (THCh)  possesses a 6-carbon sidechain, whereas regular THC only has a 5-carbon sidechain. The longer a cannabinoid’s side chain is, the longer and more drawn-out the psychoactive effects can be experienced. Tetrahydrocannabihexol’s hexol refers to the THC’s 6-carbon sidechain and Delta 8 and Delta 9 THC only have a 5-carbon sidechain.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

THCH stands for Tetrahydrocannabihexol because of its 6-carbon sidechain.

THCH is 10 times more potent than regular THC.

The biggest difference between THCjd and THCh is the potency. THCh is 10 times potent while THCjd is 19 times more potent.

The effects of THCh tend to be more relaxing due to the potency of the THC.

What Is THCJD?

Tetrahydrocannabioctyl (THCJD) is another strong cannabinoid with a longer carbon side chain.  With an 8-carbon sidechain, this cannabinoid is the most powerful cannabinoid till date. Tetrahydrocannabiphorol was the cannabinoid that was thought to be the most powerful . THCJD, on the other hand, has an additional carbon sidechain than THCP, making it the most powerful cannabinoid. THCJD is 19 times stronger than THC because of the extended carbon sidechain. Keep in mind that THCJD is 19 times stronger than THC, which means it has a 19% higher chance of sticking to your receptors. The psychoactive sensation you get is caused by these receptors in your body.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

THCjd stands for Tetrahydrocannabiocty for its 8-carbon sidechain.

THCjd is 19 times more potent than THC.

No, THCjd has a 8-carbon sidechain and THCh has a 6-carbon sidechain.

Yes, THCjd is found in the Hemp plant in small quantities.
